Dear Friends of Saint Joseph,
A blessed Solemnity of the Assumption of Mary!
Seminarians are our future priests. At the moment, we have 49 seminarians in
Seminario de San Jose, Palawan, 1 in UST Central Seminary, 1 in San Carlos
Seminario, Makati City and 8 in Saint Jospeh Regional Seminary, Jaro Iloilo. Most of
them came from poor families.
The Apostolic Vicariate of Taytay sends them to seminaries and pay their board and
lodging and other fees. However, we find it difficult to sustain our resources.
With this, we invite you to be part of this noble endeavor in sending our seminarians
to seminaries. Your share is vital to continuously form them and later on become one
of the priests of the Apostolic Vicariate of Taytay in Northern Palawan.
We are also happy to announce to you that on August 22, 2025 at 9:30 in the morning,
one of our former seminarians will be ordained to the sacred order of presbyters in
Saint John the Baptist Parish, Dumaran, Palawan. He is Rev. Michael Ryan Abog Sey.
With this, we cordially invite you to come and be part of our joyful celebration for God
has given us such a great blessing to our church.
