VISION

Led by the Spirit in discerning “the signs of the times”, we envision the local church of the Apostolic Vicariate of Taytay, Palawan as a community of Christ’s disciples, with Mary as our model, journeying together in proclaiming the Father’s reign.

MISSION
  1. Directing our evangelization efforts to all the workers and indigenous communities of the Vicariate and entrusting them to the patronage of St. Joseph the Worker;
  2. Participation of the clergy as co-partners especially in the life-struggles of the marginalized and the disadvantaged;
  3. Promoting BEC’s as the “new way of being church” through the empowerment of the laity;
  4. Proper and sustainable use and protection  of the rich natural resources in the northern part of Palawan for the total development of the communities; 
  5. Upholding moral and spiritual values in our people’s quest for justice and quality of life;
  6. Strengthening Christian education of the youth in order to prepare them to be Christian leaders in the future.
